Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), and Law No. 58/2019 of August 8, which implements this Regulation in the Portuguese legal system, establish the rules that apply to personal data protection.

 

Autoridade Nacional de Emergência e Proteção Civil (National Authority for Emergency and Civil Protection) is providing the following information for the purpose of compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Law No. 58/2019 of August 8:

 

Within the scope of its powers, namely those in Article 2(2) of Decree-Law No. 45/2019 of April 1, ANEPC is your personal data controller.

 

The purposes of processing these personal data and the legal grounds for said processing as well as data recipients are in the aforementioned Decree-Law No. 45/2019 of April 1.

 

The rules for preserving personal data are in ANEPC’s General Archival Regulations.

 

Data subjects have the right to request access to the personal data that concern them from the data controller as well as the right to rectification, which may be exercised directly before ANEPC or ANEPC’s data protection officer at the following e-mail address: epd@prociv.pt.

 

Data subjects have the right to complain in regard to the processing of their personal data to Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (National Commission for Data Protection).
